A very fine violin from one of the most sought after makers of the period, Georges Apparut. In beautiful condition with just the very smallest of blemishes, made in the style of Guarneri as with most of the Apparut violins, dated 1928 and numbered 232. This is a really lovely instrument, one of his best examples. The one piece back length is: 355 mm. Set up with fine quality rosewood fittings including the original pegs, Obligato strings and supplied in a new lightweight case, finished in an orange/red oil varnish of excellent lustre. This is a fine instrument to play with the usual rich responsive Apparut sound. A lovely instrument for player or collector. Highly recommended!
