An excellent nickel mounted pernambuco bow by Charles Nicolas Bazin, in the style of Tourte and stamped Tourte on the stick below the frog. In very good clean condition with just the smallest of imperfections, the frog is a good snug fit to the stick, original in all of its principle parts. Finished in a dark brown patina, just rehaired and with new lapping and leather, a very early bow made circa 1875. These are such good players bows!
