A very fine silver mounted pernambuco bow by Charles Nicolas Bazin signed C.Bazin on the stick below the frog. In really nice condition, just very minor blemishes, the full length mother of pearl slide which also continues down the back of the frog denotes the Lupot style, there is a very small hairline crack in the mother of pearl at the back but it is the original piece so have left it as it is hardly noticeable. Finished in a dark plum patina! Circa 1890. This is such a lovely bow. One of the best you will find!
