A superb violin from one of the most acomplished luthiers of the period, Georges Apparut, numbered 659 and dated 1934. Made in the style of Guarneri. This example is in excellent condition, just some small varnish wear. It is made from first class materials with much attention to detail. The back length is: 354 mm. Set up with fine quality ebony fittings, Larsen Virtuoso strings and supplied in a new case. This is a beautiful violin to play, with a lovely classy tone, very clear in the treble and with good response and volume. A fine instrument for player or collector!
