An excellent quality violin from the J.Thibouville-Lamy atelier, Hughes Emile Blondelet model. In really nice condition, a violin without damage or repairs, just the smallest of varnish marks, labelled, dated and branded H.E.Blondelet on the lower rib below the tailpin. The length of the two piece back is 359 mm. Fine quality rosewood fittings, Dominant strings and supplied in a new lightweight case. A powerful instrument, capable of great sonority and projection that also has a lyrical tone. Always sought after, especially by orchestral players. An excellent violin that was made in 1929. Highly recommended!
