A rare nickel mounted pernambuco bow by Paul Emile Miquel, original in all it's principal parts. Paul Miquel was greatly influenced by the style of Peccatte and also by J.B.Vuillaume, his bows are often made with a Vuillaume style frog as with this lovely example made around 1890. In very nice condition, just the smallest of blemishes, finished in a warm chestnut patina. The sound is clear, with a sweet smooth core. Recommended, a fine bow!
