An early bow from the atelier of Jean Joseph Martin, with a stick of good strength and nickel mounts. This good example of this makers work is in the style of Vuillaume. The condition is excellent, just very minor blemishes, the bow is finished in an amber/brown patina, This bow was made between 1870 and 1885. Just rehaired. Draws a rich tone, a real bit of history!
