A photo of the signature:

A Strad copy violin from the Collin-Mezin atelier, made around 1920, Note! the CM initials to the left of the label. A rather scruffy example, one small repaired wing crack on the right F hole, a blemish on the upper rib, see side photo, and a repaired saddle crack. The violin is good enough though and produces a nice even tone with good response. Fitted with a new set of Dominant strings and supplied in a new lightweight case. The back length is 358 mm. Very cheap for a Collin-Mezin workshop violin!
