A fine quality violin by Amédèe Dieudonne. In almost mint condition condition with just the smallest of varnish marks. Amédèe Dieudonne was a very accomplished maker, this is a beautiful example of his work which will only increase in value.
Please note!
this fine example has a Galessi label, he was known to buy violins from Dieudonne and then apply his own labels, in this case even claiming the work as his own! This is an unmistakable Amédèe Dieudonne violin as the certificate states. Well made with good attention to detail, note the quality of the carving to the sound holes, button and scroll. The back length is 13.15/16 inches (35.4 cm.), The fittings are in fine quality rosewood, set up with Obligato strings and supplied in a new light weight case. This instrument has a lovely rich broad tone, typical of the violins by this great maker. A fine instrument highly recommended!
