Sound clip.
The label is inscribed:
D. SORIOT
Luthier
École Française

Violins from the Marc Laberte workshops are always a good choice as they are well built and have a good balanced tone. The D.Soriot violins were one of their intermediate range models. This example is in excellent condition, just very minor blemishes. The back length is 14.1/8 inches (35.8cm.) Set up with rosewood fittings including the original pegs, Pro-Arte strings and supplied in a new lightweight case. A nice sonorous toned violin that is easy to play and has a good range of expression. Extremely good value!
