A very fine quality violin from the Amédèe Dieudonne workshops, F.Billottet was the maker, he was an excellent maker in his own right and worked for Dieudonne during the early 1940s, he died in 1948. This is a fine example of his work, beautifully crafted, lightly built and with good attention given to the finer points. The back measurement is 14 inches (35.6cm.). The fittings are in fine dark rosewood with Pro-Arte strings and supplied in a new lightweight case. An instrument with a lovely classy tone, good balance and very quick response! Highly recommended!
