From Karl Bohm Sarabande in G minor.

A beautiful violin after Guarnerius, with lots of character, inscribed to the inner back with the Justin Derazey workshop brand which is an oval containing a violin image and with the initials J D. Although made in part by his assistants the Justin Derazey workshop violins are almost indistinguishable from those made entirely by himself as he usually put the finishing touches and then applied the varnish. In very nice condition with just some small varnish marks and quite a lot of varnish wear. The back is in one piece and of very good quality, he was known to have used Transylvanian maple for his backs, length is: 14.1/8 inches long (35.8cm.) The front is of Swiss pine. Setup with fine quality Ebony fittings with Obligato strings and supplied in a new lightweight case. A beautiful instrument of fine quality. The violin has a lovely tone with a real touch of class! a vibrant treble and warm sonorous bass. A beautiful instrument, highly recommended!
