No. ordre 235 Année 1927

| Quite a rare violin, Jean Larcher was born in 1901, he worked in Mirecourt and was trained by Collin-Mezin. His violins are based on the old Italian masters but with his own arching. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. Fitted with a two piece back: 14 inches (35.6cm.). Condition is superb, there are no repairs just extremely minor varnish marks. Setup with ebony and rosewood fittings, Dominant strings and supplied in a new lightweight case. With a warm round sound, lyrical treble and a quick response. A really nice violin, recommended! |
