For more than fifty years, Sidmouth has hosted the International Sidmouth Folk Festival. During the first week of August each year, the town is filled with the sounds of violins and flutes, accordions and concertinas, banjos and mandolins, bodhrans and bongoes and, of course, the sights and sounds of song and dance from around the world. Although we are primarily an internet trading company, you are welcome to call and try our violins and bows in person but please note that this facility is available by appointment only. Please telephone us on 01395 512739 before travelling to Sidmouth. Please feel free to bring a teacher or another violin player with you: we want you to be happy with your purchase and four ears are sometimes better than two!
