Further branded with his monogram, a cross, set within a circle, and inscribed in ink on the upper left inside rib Billottet a Paris 1931.The back length is 14.1/16 inches (357mm). The violin is set up with ebony and rosewood fittings, (original gold capped pegs) Larsen strings and supplied in a new light weight case. In beautiful condition, just one very small re-glued wing crack and some light craquelling to the varnish which adds to the graceful look and character of this instrument. This violin has a a radiantly beautiful, clear sound full of timbre, deep in the bass and with a superb singing treble. A violin with a character that deserves our special recommendation!
