The label is inscribed:
Antonius Amati di Cremona
1627
A nice Amati copy from a good luthier, probably Mirecourt, made around 1925. The back length is: 361 mm. The violin is set up with rosewood fittings. Condition is ok, no repairs but quite a lot of varnish blemishes, mainly to the front. Fitted with Pro-Arte strings and supplied in a lightweight case. This instrument has a good balanced tone with plenty of volume. Good value!
