A very fine silver mounted pernambuco bow made in collaboration between Emile François Ouchard and Auguste Ouchard (father and son) faintly signed Emile Ouchard on the stick below the frog, circa 1930. This is a superb example of the work of both of these two makers, this is a "collaboration" bow which offers the best of both of these great makers, the precise craftsmanship of Emile Auguste Ouchard, with the more technical qualities of Emile François. In near perfect condition with a strong octagonal stick of a rich conker patina and a perfect weight and balance. A beautiful silver mounted bow!
