A photo of the label:

An excellent violin by Jean Larcher, born in 1901 he became a pupil of Collin-Mezin in his teens, eventually setting up his own atelier in Mirecourt. His instruments are well made, with good attention to detail, you can see the influence of Collin-Mezin in the quality of workmanship. This example is in good condition, no damage or repairs, just a filled scratch on the lower right bout and some varnish imperfections. The back is two piece, 357 mm. set up with Dominant strings and supplied in a new lightweight case. This violin has a good voice, it has a balanced tone, good volume anda nice clear treble.
