A photo of the label:

A fine quality violin from a good established maker. Léon Mougenot (Mougenot-Guache) worked for Blanchard at Lyons, Paul Jombar in Paris and Hill and sons London before establishing his own workshops at Mirecourt in 1899. All his instruments were entirely hand made, whether by assistants or himself. This example has the original printed guarantee dated 1934. The back length is 359 mm. The condition is excellent, no repairs just minor varnish blemishes. Set up with Dominant strings and supplied in a new lightweight case. A violin with a vibrant open tone, capable of much expression, a good instrument that is a pleasure to play. Highly recommended!
