The H.Clotelle violins were produced by both the Laberte-Humbert workshops and also the Marc Laberte workshops, this example is probably Laberte-Humbert. They are good violins in their class and have a nice balanced tone. The back length is 14.1/8 inches (35.8 cm.) Set up with rosewood pegs, ebony tailpiece and chinrest and a new set of Pro-Arte strings, the violin is supplied in a new light weight case. There is no damage or repairs, just varnish imperfections. This instrument has an excellent warm and mellow tone with a nice clear treble and good volume. This violin is good value !
