| A lovely warm violin with lots of character from a very sought after maker, these quality Collin-Mezin instruments are becoming increasingly difficult to find. In excellent condition without damage or repairs, just minor varnish blemishes. Made from selected woods, set up with rosewood fittings (the pegs are probably original), Dominant strings and supplied in a new case. The length of the one piece back is 14.1/8 inches (35.8 cm.). This is a violin with a lovely sweet tone, well balanced with a clear smooth treble and a superb growl to the bass. A fine instrument for collector or player, highly recommended! |
