A nice quality French Lupot copy in excellent condition, well made from good materials and with a pleasing tone. Note the quality of the scroll, "F" holes and button and the black lining to the bevels of the scroll and corners, typical of French violins of this period. No damage or repairs, just minor varnish blemishes. The back length is 14 inches, (35.6cm.), the fittings are in rosewood and ebony, recently set up with Pro-Arte strings and supplied in a new case. The violin has a nice clean clear balanced tone. A good quality violin at an affordable price!
