Also carries the coat of arms in the centre of the label and the J.T.L. monogram to the right.
An excellent quality well made Mirecourt violin. Made in the the J. Thibouville-Lamy workshops who produced a Breton model, the instrument carries a J.T.L. label on the treble side and is also stamped Breton on the button. In nice clean condition with just minor blemishes. The back length is: 14.1/16 (35.7 cm.) Set up with fine rosewood fittings, Dominant strings and supplied in a new case. A violin with a full sonorous tone, sweet sounding and well balanced tone with lots of volume. A real pleasure to play!
