A very clean Nicolas Bertholini violin, they are good intermediate grade violins with a balanced tone, sonorous base and good volume, note the date, they were always pre-dated to 1810. In excellent condition without damage or repairs, just small varnish blemishes. The back length is 14.1/16 inches (35.7 cm.) Set up with good quality ebony fittings, a new set of Pro-Arte strings and supplied in a lightweight case. The violin has the typical well balanced clean sound of the Bertholini violins, an easy instrument to play and very good value!
