| Another Medio-Fino violin dating from around 1900. These were originally student violins but have mellowed very well with age and are now good value fiddles. This example is a little bit scruffy in that the varnish is a bit patchy and there are a couple of small dings on the scroll but this is reflected in the price. The back measurement is:14.3/16 inches (36 cm.) Set up with Pro-Arte strings and supplied in a sound old case. Although inexpensive this violin has a nice well balanced tone. The Medio Fino violins have become very nice sounding with age! |
