An good quality well made violin, the maker is not listed but is quite well known as an accomplished maker in France, also was known for his excellent bows. Neat and tidy workmanship and with good attention to detail. There are however imperfections to the varnish, mainly to the front where it is patchy in places, hence the low price. The back length is: 13.15/16 (35.4 cm.) Set up with fine rosewood fittings, Dominant strings and supplied in a new case. A violin with a full sonorous tone, sweet sounding and well balanced with ample volume. Very good value!
