| This is a beautiful instrument made by Charles Audinot son of Victor Audinot with whom he studied before setting up his own Paris workshops, his instruments are really delightful and a real pleasure to play. Note the superb quality of the scroll, button and sound holes, made by a very skilled hand! The back length is 14.1/16 inches (35.7cm.), The condition is excellent, just very minor marks to the varnish. The violin is set up with Obligato strings has the original rosewood pegs and is supplied in a new case. The violin has a lovely lyrical tone with depth and a real touch of class, a really fine instrument, one of the best we have offered. For players and collectors, a superb investment! |
